I had owned a similar pair of these shoes years ago and thought they would be great for our upcoming trip to Machu Picchu, in Peru. However, the shoes now have much more synthetic material than they did previously and they do not breathe very well resulting in very sweaty and stinky feet when on longer hikes. The comfort and cushioning while walking was fine but it doesn't take too long for feet to turn slimy feeling in warm weather. If you are walking in fairly warm or hot weather I would suggest another shoe. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars]
